The Department of Learning Technologies is under the College of Information, which was established in 2008 by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). The College of Information has since become a member of both iSchools and iCaucus in its dedication to advancement in the field of information. The college generates, integrates, and disseminates knowledge in a learner-centered environment that advances and supports the relationships between information, people, institutions and agencies, language, and technology.
