Rose Baker
Rose Baker, PhD., PMP is an Associate Professor in Learning Technologies. Baker brings > 30 years of project management, business supervision and management, instructional design, and teaching experience to her position at UNT. Baker teaches courses on principles of training and development, foundations of workplace learning, project management in applied technology and performance improvement, evaluation and accountability, and research processes with secondary data. She has worked as a project manager, instructional designer, and instructor with organizations including General Motors, PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Pennsylvania State University, Huntingdon County Career and Technology Center, and the Pennsylvania Public School System. Her research includes management techniques and statistical applications for operations and performance improvement, survey and evaluation design, and applications of emerging technologies. Baker holds a PhD in Instructional Systems and an M.Ed. in Adult Education Theory and Practice from The Pennsylvania State University and is certified as a PMP® by the Project Management Institute. Baker holds an active member of the ACS, AECT, ARHD, AHRD PEN, ATP, ICKM, INSciTS, ISPI, ISPI EMEA, KiPA, PMI, PMI Dallas, PMI Fort Worth, SHRM, UCWHRE, UFHRD and a frequent contributor to Sirius XM Road Dog Trucking Radio.
