Annual Doctoral Meeting

2022 Annual Doctoral Meeting: October 21-23, 2022.

This year the 2022 Annual Meeting will be a virtual event! Our meeting runs Friday, October 21st – Sunday, October 23rd. Participation in this meeting is mandatory for all students in the distributed program and new residential students beginning summer 2022. Residential students who entered the program prior to summer 2022 have the option to attend the meeting by paying a conference fee of $43 (cash or check only). Live sessions will be hosted through Zoom while discussion forums and archived sessions from last year will be hosted on Canvas.

Getting Ready 
Before the meeting, make sure that your technology is up-to-date and working properly. Prepare your space to avoid backlighting and use a headset with a microphone if possible. Install the Zoom desktop client or mobile app as some sessions may not be accessible through the web client. Trading Cards: In preparation for the trading card session, when students will able to mingle and get to know one another, please view the following instructions for creating your own trading card in advance: Trading Card Instructions

Trivia Game: During the lunch breaks on Friday, Saturday, and on Sunday we will be hosting a Learning Technologies/UNT themed trivia game. Students will have 60 minutes to complete the 50-question game. Those with the top three scores each day will win a prize (mailed to their home)! Friday, October 21st

8:30-9:00am: Welcome and Trading Card Instructions.

9:00-9:45am: Faculty Introductions. Students may join and stay in ANY tier grouping. Faculty members have been assigned to a tier (see schedule with Zoom link*). Select students have been assigned a tier for introduction presentations (see schedule with Zoom link*). Recommended for cohorts 25 and 26.

9:45-10:00am: BREAK

10:00-10:45: Replacing Committee Member Process with Dr. Warren. Recommended for all cohorts.
