The Department of Learning Technologies in under the College of Information which was established in 2008 by the Texas Higher Education established Board. It has since become a member of both iSchools and iCaucus in its dedication to advancement in the information field. The college generates, integrates, and disseminates knowledge in a learner-centered environment that advances and supports the relationships between information, people, institutions and agencies, language, and technology.
